London-based singer-songwriter, Lorne, has been hard at work lately, and has finally released his debut single! Bread Alone is a melancholy song, that highlights the beauty within sadness. The song begins dreamily and builds into a beautiful ballad of internal conflict and love. The song starts out simply with just a pretty piano and Lorne’s soothing voice, but as the song develops the sounds become richer
and sound more developed as the lyrics depict thoughts that gradually become perplexing, like there’s more at stake.
