Arizona Emo Group, The Maine, is cooking up something good and they’re taking fans along on the journey through a youtube series called “Miserable Youth”. The band is in the process of writing and recording their 6th studio album.

The band had a successful year following the release of their most recent album, “American Candy”, in March 2015. They went on tour with Real Friends and Knuckle Puck in the spring of 2015 after the release of the album, were on tour with Mayday Parade in the spring of 2016, and had a space on the main stage of Vans Warped Tour 2016. It’s been a wild ride for the past few years, but it’s obvious that the group is ready to move on with new music.

“Miserable Youth” is a weekly video series that gives fans an inside look into the lives of the members of the band as they go through the process of writing and recording the new album. Through the videos, fans are able to experience every side of writing an album, including the good, the bad, and the ugly.

This series has got me itching to lock myself up in a cabin out in nature and work on writing and creating music. Too bad I’ve got to go to school and these weekly videos will have to hold me over until I have the time to focus all of my energy on my creativity.
