The 87th Academy Awards are tonight and there is a wide variety of musical nominations including best original score, best original song, best sound editing, and best sound mixing. One of the things that I admire about the Oscars is that the awards delve deeper than just best picture and best actor. The entire process of creating a movie is so extensive and the awards help recognize all the people who play a part in producing the final product.
